P&B Textiles originally started in 1963 with two owners, Charles Prager and Irwin Bear, and it was called Prager & Bear. Today it is known as P&B Textiles, and has been selling its own fabrics since 1980. P&B's first full-time designer was hired in 1989, and the company has grown immensely ever since.
