Food and Beverage FabricTasty and filling food fabricsHere are quick links to our collection of 100% cotton food fabric. This collection has fabrics for every taste, from fruit and vegetable fabric to cake and candy fabric Project Ideas for Food Themed FabricThese fabrics are great for simple projects like quilted place mats, pot holders, kitchen wall hangings, aprons or as a gift for your favorite chef. Caring for Your FabricBefore you begin your craft or quilt project, it is advised that you wash the fabrics. Washing removes some of the chemicals in the fabric and should make the it easier to use. Note: these are cotton fabrics and they will shrink. Most of the shrinkage will occur when you first wash and dry the fabric. You should take care to use the same wash settings you intend to use on the finished project. Also, remember that colors will bleed on first washing, so be sure to wash like colors together. Storing FabricsYour fabrics should be stored in a dry, dust free room with minimum light. Shelving that accessible and on both sides is ideal. If space is a problem, you can store fabrics in drawers, or in opaque plastic storage bins. Do not forget the most important part though, your fabrics should be accessible so you can enjoy them.
